Slim explores the causes of stress and how to deal with them. Slim describes three types of stress (environmental, mental, physical) and presents an example of a each situation. Slim joins Slenda and the All Fit Team at Slim's Gym, where they guide viewers in relaxation exercises and show that imagining a beautiful scene can help reduce stress.
In the Body Lab, Slim explains the "Fight or Flight Syndrome." He points out that even though most of our stressful situations are not a matter of life and death, they can cause a person a lot of anxious feelings. Then Slim names and locates the diaphragm muscle.
