Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome!! Get it! Comment: This was awesome! Easy to learn from this cook, and he is very laid back... it's ok if you make mistakes! These are great recipes for vegan foods, and they are some you could serve to your meat-eating friends who would enjoy it just as well! I've tried several recipes- they're absolutely delicious! If you're looking for something different and new, you WILL NOT be disappointed. If you can get past some of the language, he's entertaining as well.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good and Entertaining Vegan Cooking. Comment: Kerry Weber was enjoyable to watch...punk but no pumpkin pie...enjoyed his mistakes as well as his recipes. It was quite helpful that he mentioned his product names so that you could actually find them. Curse words were used sparingly as were his recipes from scratch.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun DVD for Vegan Cooking Comment: Kerry shows how to cook vegan food with a can-do punk rock DIY attitude. He makes it look easy, in that things don't have to be perfect, if you have tasty ingredients. I would say that he should cook the onions a little longer so they have that caramelized sweetness that makes it better, and not crunchy. His sloppy joe recipe looked good, but he put too much pepper(and he admitted it)in it. I am eager to try the recipes, and I love the titles of the recipes. Perfect DVD for veg-curious punk rockers and their compatriots. In the end he visits Food Fight Grocery in Portland, Oregon and he recommends various vegan resources.

The Hardcore Chef proves you don't have to chow on rabbit food, max out your credit card at high-priced health food stores, or spend all day cooking elaborate meals from scratch just because you love animals! Friend of cows and chickens, enemy of corporate greed, the Hardcore Chef leads you down the path of culinary enlightenment with centuries old vegan recipes like Hail Seitan and Eviction-Sloppy Joe (for when your roommate spends your rent money on heroin). With support from his favorite hardcore-punk vegan bands, the Hardcore Chef demonstrates how tasty food can be when it's fast, cheap, and cruelty free.
Over 100 minutes of recipes including: Hail Seitan, Tamil Tiger Rice, Seitan Strokin' Off, Cool-Hand Cookie Cheesecake, When Spud Gets Off Heroin This Is The Potato Salad He'll Eat, Vegetable Medley of Hardcore Gaiety, Free Noriega Wraps, Mushroom Mosh Pit-tatoes, and more!
