Customer Rating: Summary: Cindy Crawford-next challenge Comment: I actually used to own the video of this, I liked it so much I got onto the net to see if I could get it in a dvd format-I love this work out particularly the free weights section at the end, there is a bit of thai chi stuff mixed in their as well, again it is low impact but a solid workout!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Loved It!!!! Comment: This workout is one of the best I have ever owned. I do a DVD daily and I have quite the collection. This one works your muscles in new ways, reshapes your body, and is also fun to do. I feel like I get the best workout when I am drenched in sweat, but with this tape there is no need because the cardio at the beginning is just enough when combined with the weight training. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to jaz up there current routine with something totally different.
Customer Rating: Summary: What a workout! Comment: I have to admit that I remember her first workout video targeting my problem area (the thighs!) a little better. But this video will definitely give you results. You will be sore and more tone after one use, and that's even if you skip a few of the ab sections :) Enjoy your workout!
Customer Rating: Summary: LOVE IT!! Comment: I absolutely LOVE this video! It is the perfect full body workout. I had the VHS version of Cindy Crawford's first video and got on to re-order the DVD when I saw this video. I decided to go for something new and different and I'm so glad I did. I just advanced from using 3 lb weights to 5 lb weights and wwhhheeww what a challenge. I've only used the video for a couple weeks now and I already feel so much more fit and toned. I'm excited to keep going for more results. I'm going to order her 3rd video and alternate days to keep things changed up. Cindy Crawford may get negative reviews from some, but I'll tell you what, I'm a huge fan. She's real and down to earth and not the typical annoying workout instructor. This video is challenging, but after just a short time you'll find yourself stronger and able to do it with more ease. I highly recommend it anyone ready to get toned and in shape.
Customer Rating: Summary: the next challenge Comment: This is an excellent workout video. What I like best is that it targets the entire body. You're just not focusing on one area. However, I do think that she moves from one area into the other too quickly. She doesn't give you enough time to get ready. This can problem can be fixed by using your pause button on the video player.

This 1993 video is a one-hour workout combining stop-and-start cardio movements that are athletic (no dance) with muscle endurance moves with and without light weights. The cardio section uses moves like jogging, jumping, leg swings, and power moves such as fast lunge combinations, squats with jumps, and karate kicks. The lower body strengthening moves include variations of lunges and squats using body weight. The upper-body weight exercises are varied but done too quickly--it's easy to rely on momentum. Some of these exercises are oddly chosen: a number of the exercises that are supposed to work the chest fatigue the shoulders and back long before the chest muscles feel anything, for example. You'll certainly feel the many sets of ab exercises, however! After the fitness experts panned Cindy Crawford's 1992 Shape Your Body because of its risky moves, this one was planned under the supervision of C. Thomas Vangsness Jr., M.D., Chief of Sports Medicine at the University of Southern California. Crawford doesn't fling her body as she did in the first one (why didn't her trainer teach her not to do this in the first place?), and she explains how to do the exercises properly. A glossary of exercises at the end emphasizes correct form. This is certainly better than Shape Your Body, but unless you're wild about Cindy Crawford, you can find workouts conducted by real fitness instructors that are better designed and demonstrated. --Joan Price
