Comment: I've had this workout video for over 3 years and always go back to it, even when I buy a new video. These workouts really work.
When I do the waist workout everyday my waist gets smaller and when I touch my waist the fat on my waist is gone. The waist workout has wonderful bellydance moves that you can incorporate in your dance. Wear a bellydance hip scarf and it is so much fun!

The leg/butt workout is great too. Especially the floor workouts, it puts a perk in my butt and also adds a curvurture from my back.
The stand up leg workouts gets rid of the flab in my inner thigh area.

The arm workout is excellent because my arms do get bulky if I use weights and since Rania does the workouts without weights I do too and the flab on my arms goes away and my arms are toned, not buff.

I know this video didn't get great reviews, but if you use it daily you will notice results!

Summary: Not bellydancing, and not particularly challenging or interesting
Comment: I'm 230lbs. I'm not a particularly active person. I only made it through the first two sections before stopping, because I got bored, and felt like I was waisting my time.

First, this is not bellydance. Not on any planet or parallel dimension does it even vaguely resemble anything bellydance-ish. There's no bellydance music, and only a handful of actual bellydance moves (that you're already expected to know how to do.) You won't be dancing during any part of this. You will be doing pushups, crunches, and useless standing arm exercises that might be challenging to my grandmother. You will be doing so to lame, uninspiring music, and a droll, not particularly enthusiastic voice-over.

If you've never seen a crunch done before, and the idea of bicep curls without any weight really gets your heart racing, this video would be okay. There are still better out there. These moves are really basic fitness, and you could probably find someone to show you how to do it on youtube. For free. There is neither enough resistance, nor repetition of these moves to qualify as a "work out."

If you're looking for a fun and inspiring way to get active and lose weight, please don't waste your time on this. Happily, I netflixed it, so I was able to send it back and try something better.

Summary: I love these drills
Comment: The reviews are true: there's no bellydance in this video. The music is more like smooth jazz than bellydance. But for me, these strength-building drills are no-nonsense, to the point and short with enough variation to keep me interested and focused. Because the drills are based on dance moves, they're reasonably fun to do (though it's nothing like real dancing). I do at least one of these routines almost every day, and three of the five are simple enough for me to do before my first coffee. It wakes me up enough for me to do a more complicated workout or move on to another section of this video. For the current price (less than five bucks), this video definitely has been worth it.

If I could make only one suggestion for Rania (or any other video exercise instructor), please wear something other than all black. I want to be able to see what your legs are doing, and it's hard if you're wearing all black!

Comment: This is a great video for those of us who dont have time for a full work out everyday. There are five - 10 minute segments (one for each day of the week). It is a very good intense workout. The instructor is easy to follow.
