Customer Rating: Summary: must be in your pocket for inpatient/outpatient care! Comment: We all need this pocket book to stay current on Abx. Rx and Tx.--period. Dosing, too, and specific infective regimens are also noted. My only complaint is that sometimes it is confusing and tedious to FIND what you need. An updated charting system, and easier to find categories would be nice in the next edition.
Customer Rating: Summary: best pocketbook for clinicians Comment: for medical doctors who work in a busy health unit and need at any time a handy book to review antibiotics, bugs and side effects.
very-very helpfull for clinicians with a subspesialty (rheumatology, nephrology, hematology etc) who need fast to have access on information such as the appropriate antibiotic and the first in line medication.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not convenient to use Comment: The book had all the information I wanted but the print was totally unreadable due to size...I opted for the more expensive spiral bound version.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Clinical Reference! Comment: For all medical practitioners this Sanford Guide is the definitive pocket guide for infectious disease treatment. Updated annually with the latest treatment recommendations from professional groups. I use it nearly daily when considering antibiotic selection and disease treatment.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great, but type is microscopic! Comment: This is an invaluable resource in terms of content. It is the pocket size, which is convenient. Understand that the small size means that the type is incredibly small. You might need a microscope to read this!
