Summary: Excellent Vocabulary Booster
Comment: I have tried many methods in learningn new words and memorizing them, but most of them were useless or unsustainable. This book not only provided me an effective way to learn new words, but also revived my interest of learning new words. The words in the book are useful. It would be helpful to those who might be writing the SAT or are just beginning their test preparation with very limited vocabulary. I highly recommend it.

Comment: Colin O'Malley and Julie Karasik have put together a fun book, the"Vocab-Vitamin Vocabulary Booster". I think it would make a nice gift for just about anyone! The book focuses on vocablulary that is relevant and useful, and the presentation is logical and understandable. I like the idea of receiving a thoughtful "word a day" email in the "IN" box of my email program. Highly Reccommended!

Comment: My wife and I have been getting this book for friends and family as gifts ever since we read it. We are both attorneys and know the value of language. I think this book is good for children and adults. Each chapter is cleverly titled and has funny, unique, and apropos illustrations. Unlike other vocabulary study programs I have used, I actually remembered the words and definitions from this book. The words are great when you use them, because they fit the situation well and you don't feel or appear pretentious. This is a great investment for kids and adults, and fun to read.
